03 · Reading the results

Expected and sampled results tell two parts of the story.

The expected pattern shows the underlying probability. A sampled run shows what happened in a finite set of measurements.

Expected pattern

The smooth theoretical balance for the control value you chose.

Expected pattern: |0⟩ 50%, |1⟩ 50%.

Sampled run

A local simulation of a limited number of measurements, so the bars may move slightly.

Sampled run: |0⟩ 47%, |1⟩ 53%.

More measurements usually bring the sampled bars closer to the expected pattern.

Qubimi remembers completed lessons and your last experimental setting, so you can continue from the home page or library.

Small quantum glossary

Qubit
A quantum information unit. Unlike a classical bit, its state can include amplitudes for both 0 and 1.
Gate
A controlled operation that rotates or correlates quantum states.
Amplitude
A signed or complex quantity whose squared size becomes a measurement probability.
Measurement
The act that records a classical result such as 0 or 1.
Entanglement
A joint state whose parts cannot be fully described independently.

Common questions

Is this a real quantum computer?

No. Qubimi is a visual teaching simulator. It demonstrates idealized behavior so the main idea stays visible.

Why do results change when I run again?

Quantum measurement is probabilistic. A finite sample moves slightly even when the underlying probability is unchanged.

Where should I begin?

Complete the experiments in order so each new idea builds on the last. After Stage 3, you can take Stage 4 or Stage 5 first.

Do I need to know equations?

No. Every experiment begins with a visual explanation; notation is introduced only where it helps.
